Come along with your tour guide, Pancho (who's a legend in his own mind), as we take a brief tour of the main living areas.
The living area of our inn is upstairs on the highest level. The area is completely open to the outdoors, and is furnished with beautiful couches, lounge chairs and hammocks, plus a delightful collection of artworks, handicrafts, and lush plants. The living and dining areas feature a spectacular view of the Zihuatanejo harbor.
The incredible size and number of the many "common areas" of the house enables our guests to either socialize with new friends, or seek out a private terrace or palapa all their own.
Oops! Watch your step! Well, it appears that Leila has arrived, and has now given you permission to pet her.
Our inn features two pools. One is on the upper level near the bar. It features a waterfall that cascades down to the larger pool on the next level.
As you relax throughout the day, you are welcome to help yourself to soft drink refreshments from our bar. However, you may prefer something a little stronger (after all, you are on vacation). For $12.50 per day per person, you may help yourself to (in addition to soft drinks) our collection of adult beverages. If you'd rather just the soft drinks, $5 per day per person will give you full rights to them. You will know breakfast is ready when you hear the warm sound of the breakfast bell (it also does double duty at dinner time).
A delicious, full breakfast is served daily. Breakfast is served outdoors on our veranda, where you can take in the view of the Zihuatanejo harbor bathed in the morning sunshine.
Well, Pancho could go on (he loves the sound of his own voice), but that concludes our tour of the main house. Please feel free to explore our web site further by clicking on the menu items at the top of this page. My brother-in-law rented the entire Villa in March/April of 98 for our family. I could not have had a better time. Martha, the owner was amazing. She called taxis for us, fixed snacks for our kids, set up fishing outings, and even found two local women to care for our children whenever we chose to go on our own. She became more like a member of our family, as did the other staff members. The food is absolutely incredible. Breakfast is great, but dinner is unbelieveable- The best in the village. We ate every dinner there, except one, and regretted taking that night off. The villa is beautiful and there is nothing more peaceful than relaxing in the hammock the sits at the water's edge down the winding steps of the cliff. We are going back again with friends in July of this year (2001), and cannot wait to get there! Amy D., Arlington, TX |
